Nicole Alexandra Salcedo

Public artwork commissioned for the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami. This installation features an aluminum anthropomorphic gate, intricately carved to represent a face, which is my interpretation of the spirit of nature. The features on the figure invite closer engagement, with each section of the gate sharing a symmetry that is meant to depict the role of renewal and connection to the natural world.
